Zaurus

I installed QPZidian (English-Chinese dictionary) on my Zaurus. The only hitch was that I also had to install the Chinese fonts into /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts and then restart Qtopia. Then it worked.

It has a good English->Chinese and Pinyin->Chinese lookup. It even displays the Chinese characters in traditional and simplified.

hey ot,
thanks for all the research and info on the Zaurus, even though i don't own a PDA, all these features in the Zaurus makes it sound like it's worth a closer look!

thanks, will

I definitely don't have any regrets in getting a Zaurus. I think it gives the best bang for the buck.

Glad you like it

The Zaurus is one of my best purchases ever. I've taken in on many an overseas business trip instead of a notebook. I can connect to my T-68 using a CF Bluetooth card for email/web, use a CF GPS card (from Taiwan!) and also use it as a translator, not to mention a digital picture viewer, notation device (handwriting recognition is awesome). I've done time studies on it with note-taking and stopwatch activites all on the same unit. I highly recommend the Zaurus to anyone!
