I've been toying around with installing an AI bot on DebatingChristianity.com. It allows a bot to pose as a registered user and can make responses to posts and can also chat via PM. To try it out, I've locally installed the Forum AI mod. The mod is based off of ALICE (Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity) and it's brain is powered by AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) files. Basically it's just a complex set of questions and responses. The biggest problem so far is that it's a huge mod. It can well add over 30 Meg to the forum. And I only have 100 Meg on my account. So, I'm still deciding on whether to install it on the live site or not.
