The farthest I've been able to get on hosting multiple domains on my web server at home is by using port 8080. But, at work, they just blocked the port the other day. I guess someone noticed me using that port and closed it up. I've also tried using port 443 (https), but Comcast seems to be blocking that port. So, there's no port that both Comcast and my work allows that I can find. Oh well, I guess the only way to do real web hosting without resorting to all these tricks is to go with a provider that doesn't block any ports. Another reason to switch out of Comcast.
