We went out to do some shopping at Costco today. And we were sort of surprised to see so many gas stations closed. Costco was out of gas. So was Quicktrip, Shell, Chevron. There were a couple still open, and they were both selling for $4.29. Even though it's a 80 cent jump overnight, seems like not too bad a price as compared to not having any gas.

I've never seen anything like this. I've seen long lines, but never a complete shutdown of so many gas stations. Is Hurricane Ike really going to shutdown refineries for several days, or is this just people overreacting?
