With God’s grace, all good things are possible. Without God’s grace, all bad things are possible.
IBLP defines God’s grace as, “The power and desire that God gives to do His will.”
What I need more of is God’s grace in my life. I need to pray for God’s grace for myself and for those around me. It is only God’s grace that allows us to be good. We are all prone to evil and our natural tendency is to sin. It is only God’s grace that can transform and change us.
Romans 5:17
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Rom 1:28-32
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
