It’s been a busy time in the past several months with security and phpbb. This time, someone (some group) brought down the phpbb.com site. A post in area51 talks a little bit about it (Why do they call it area51 anyways?). Apparently a hole in awstats was the culprit. Simple security has a bit more information on the exploit. (And another comment, I hate it when there’s a good blog that doesn’t have a RSS feed.)
