There has been approximately 187,200 tonnes of gold mined in the history of the world. The density of gold is 19.32 g/cm3. So, if you formed a cube with all that gold, it would only be 21.32 meters wide (69.96 feet). (A bowling lane is almost 63 feet long.)

The US has 8133.46 tonnes of gold. If that was in a cube, it would only be 24.6 feet wide. (The world record for the long jump is 29 feet 4.25 in.) That amount of gold could easily fit in any house.

The annual production of gold is about 3,000 tonnes per year. That results in a cube 17.6 feet wide. (The same as the longest beard in history.)
