It took me some digging to figure out how to install and set up the ClearCase client for Eclipse. So, I’m putting it here for ease of reference.
1. Install the ClearCase client (the plugin will not work without the client)
2. Create a view
3. Get the ClearCase plugin
4. Unzip the zip file into the Eclipse directory and restart Eclipse
5. Clearcase should be a menu item now
6. Right click on a project and select “Team/Associate with clearcase”
7. Configure settings “Preferences>Team>Clearcase”. (I had restart Eclipse for the settings to take effect)
