Heb 11:6 “Without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
Man has the drive to scale mountains, jump off cliffs to soar on the thermals, and strap on oxygen tanks to explore the depths of the oceans. This is the world’s sense of adventure. But, God was the one that created all the mountains, the sky, and the oceans for us to explore. Could He Himself not be even more exciting than all these things? We can’t see how cause we view God as a black cloud and we can’t see the other side. So we assume that there’s not much there. But, God is uncharted territories. Before the New World was discovered, it was simply assumed that beyond the ocean it simply dropped off into nothingness. It took adventurers to want to explore the unknown and to go where no man has gone before.
God desires for us to leave the solid ground and fly into the heights of himself. He wants us to dive into the depths. He wants us to experience the adventure of exploring the unknown of God himself.
Aslan beckons, “higher up, deeper in”.
