Via DebatingChristianity.com, the famous atheist, Antony Flew, has abandoned atheism and turned to deism. Actually, I’ve never heard of him, but he does seem to be prominant in atheist circles. As of this moment, he is on the Celebrity Atheist List. He has a bio on infidels.org that lists him as the author of 24 books, primarily on philosophy. About.com has an article about Antony Flew. It references The Evangelical Outpost which has two posts about it – The Harbinger of “Neism”?: Antony Flew and the Flight From Atheism and Antony Flew and the Flight From Atheism.
He has basically abandoned atheism because of science.
