I had bought a Philips Nino 300 years ago for my brother as a Christmas gift. But he didn’t want it, so I kept it. All these years, I just used it to play chess and as a Bible reader. It never did sync very well with my desktop, so I never used it as an organizer. Also, the sync program conflicted with my dial-up settings for some unknown reason.

Apparantly also, Philips has been out of the PDA market since April 2001. So, it’s no longer supported.

I was investigating the web on how I can breathe new life into it. There’s a site to install Linux on it, but it’s too involved and doesn’t seem to be complete.

I guess it’s just going to remain as a Bible reader and a chess companion.
