Heather Whitestone McCallum was the 1995 Miss America winner. What makes her unique is that she was the first deaf person to be crowned Miss America. Interestingly, she became deaf after a reaction to a vaccine when she was 18 months old. Heather is also a Christian and lives here in Atlanta.
