Last Friday, I received my 2-port auto KVM from monoprices.com. I plugged it into my computers and basically had no problems. One problem I experienced was if I didn’t let my Linux box completely boot before trying to switch, then the mouse wouldn’t work. But, if I let it completely boot to the login, then I could switch. The KVM has built-in cables and I was a bit worried when I purchased it if it’d be long enough to reach both computers. It didn’t say on the website how long the cables were. But, it turned out they were 3 feet long each, so it wasn’t a problem.
