I stumbled upon Ishkur’s Guide to Electronic Music. It’s a great flash site that explains different classes of electronic music and their evolution and also provides music samples. I was wonder if there’s a site that can generate electronic music programmatically. I was thinking about this when I was playing with the JavaSoundDemo several days ago. It has a nice percussion MIDI soundtrack and thought it’d be neat if it could randomly generate music.
