I’ve decided to settle on Fedora Core 2 to run on my AMD Athlon 64 bit laptop. But, now I can’t find any wireless drivers for it.

Broadcom doesn’t have any wireless drivers for their products. Ndiswrapper doesn’t have 64 bit support. Linux WLAN doesn’t support Broadcom. Linuxant’s DriverLoader supports Broadcom and AMD64, but doesn’t have a package for Fedora Core 2. And when I try to compile their source code, it’s looking for 32 bit libraries.

I guess that’s what happens when I try to go bleeding edge with a 64 bit laptop computer. :geek: Well, to have wireless, there’s always my fallback OS … Windows XP (running a lowly 32 bit).
