I am in the process of moving Debating Christianty to a new web host. The old web host uses cPanel for their backend administration. It does the job well and makes admining simple. The new web host uses vserver, which is a totally different philosophy. Basically, it is as if I had an entire server to myself. But, it’s only a virtual server. I am given root access and I have to configure everything manually. For advanced users like myself, it’s nice being able to edit the php.ini file and then do an apache2ctl restart. I am amazed at how they are able to create something like this.
