Lately, I’ve been getting more comment spamming. Usually it’s a comment about how they like my site or what script did I use for my guestbook (I don’t even have a guestbook!). So, if the comment is not related to the post (which is usually the case), I immediately delete it. I’ve had a simple preventive measure to stop bots from posting comments for awhile now. But, I guess the bots have figured out my trick. Since the main reason they post is to get their link on my blog, I’ve now removed the url link. Hopefully, that should weed out a lot of spam commenting.
