I’ve been looking for years for a good newsletter mod for my phpbb forum. And surprisingly, there doesn’t seem to be any (at least one that has the features that I’m looking for). Really the main thing I want is the ability to pull site reports (recent posts, number of new users, top posting users) and send them out automatically. So, I’ve decided to make a phramework module to do these things. Actually, it’s two modules – the newsletter module and the phpbb2 module. It’s coming along pretty nicely and in beta testing now.
