This morning, I participated in a Bible study via a conference call. This was the first time any of us has participated in such a thing. The teacher had wanted to start a Bible study, but since all the church members live so far apart, it’s difficult to get everyone together. So he decided to try it out as a conference call. He used Free Conference to get everyone together. The only cost was that it was a long distance call. There was no charge to set it up. To keep it manageable, he had all of us attendees mute our phones while he just taught. Then at the end, we could all ask questions. The overall effect was like listening to someone on the radio, but with a bit of interactivity added to it.
