After figuring out how to mount a Windows share from the Z, now I can listen to mp3 files residing on my desktop through the Z. And of course, all of it is done wirelessly. Sound quality is very good. However, it does occasionaly drop packets.
To access the files, I created a directory /home/root/Documents/mnt then created a symbolic link (ln -s /mnt/download/music/blues/* /home/root/Documents/mnt).
