This past weekend was quite a busy weekend. My parents came over to celebrate AV’s birthday. We planned on going to Stone Mountain on Saturday morning. But, 285 was all blocked up because of construction, so we turned off onto Peachtree Industrial. The kids were getting very fussy by then, so we stopped by Chick-Fil-A for lunch. Then we saw that Kudzu was going out of business and all books were being sold for $2. Of course, there weren’t a lot of books left, but I did pick up The Handbook of World Religions and Expository Preaching. Afterwards, we went to Stone Mountain and had a little picnic and took some pictures.

On Sunday, we had Zach dedicated at church. And then that afternoon, we attended the Global Day of Prayer. They did a pretty good job of organizing it considering it was done in 90 days. The Phillips arena was probably about half full.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.
